ABOUT ME

I’m a 2D animation student specialising in 2D rigging and character setup in Toon Boom Harmony, with a strong interest in building expressive, animator-friendly rigs that support performance and storytelling. I enjoy combining technical problem-solving with creativity, exploring how rigging can enhance movement, personality, and workflow within animation production.

Through both personal and collaborative projects, I’ve developed experience working within team-based pipelines, contributing to productions while continuing to learn from other artists and creative disciplines. Working closely with others has strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and understanding of how different roles come together throughout the animation process.

My current focus is developing flexible and efficient rigs in Toon Boom Harmony, alongside refining my technical workflow and expanding my understanding of professional production practices. I’m particularly interested in character-driven animation and enjoy exploring how strong rigging can support expressive and engaging performances.

Personal Projects

2025-2026 

  • Designed and built character rigs in Toon Boom Harmon. Focusing on clean node structures and animator- friendly controls. 

  • Documented rig development process, including node view and work in progress iterations. 

  • Selected by tutor as an example of rigging best practice for teaching lower year students. 

2024 

  • Created an original short film concept, including storyboards, character design, and animatic. 

  • Demonstrated storytelling through visual development and emotional pacing. 

  • Built foundational understanding of character structure and movement, supporting rigging practice.
